The Office of the Provost announced the creation of Campus Community Connections, a new unit within the Office of the Provost. As Vice Provost for Campus Community Connections and Special Advisor to the Provost, Dr. Jenna Hatcher will report to the provost and oversee and lead this unit with a mission to support internal campus community groups, external community councils and programming that fosters an environment where all communities are connected, valued and able to thrive. This new framework is rooted in a collaborative approach that reflects the university’s values and demonstrates our unwavering commitment to fostering belonging, inclusion, and success for every Wildcat.

The message also announced the integration of Native American Student Affairs (NASA) into the Office of American Initiatives. The new, unified structure will strengthen our ability to engage Native American students, faculty, staff, and tribal nations through enhanced collaboration and impact.

We look forward to working closely with Dr. Hatcher, along with our students, faculty, staff, and external partners as we continue to provide the best possible educational experience for our students and the most inclusive and welcoming environment for all.
