University Compliance is offering an updated Hazing and Prevention Awareness Training for Employees. 

This 20-minute online training is designed to support faculty, staff, advisors, Campus Security Authorities (CSAs), coaches and university community members in preventing, recognizing and responding to hazing at the University of Arizona.

This training is recommended for all employees and is available on the EDGE Learning platform. The training covers:

  • Definitions, applicable laws, and the consequences of hazing
  • Myths and misconceptions around hazing
  • How to take action to prevent and address hazing
  • Hazing reporting resources
  • Strategies for promoting positive alternatives

Managers and supervisors may assign the training, or employees may register themselves at any time by enrolling on the course page or using the search tool in EDGE Learning.
