The University Community Chorus (UCC) is open to university students, faculty, staff and community members, with no audition required.

The ensemble rehearses Tuesday nights from 7-9:30 p.m. at the U of A School of Music, Room 146.

The ensemble performs a wide range of repertoire drawn from diverse choral traditions and styles. Its inclusive approach fosters intergenerational collaboration and supports lifelong musical participation.

Registration fees:

  • Community members: $85 (includes music and registration)
  • Students not enrolled in MUS 400/500K: $35 (includes music)
  • U of A students registered in MUS 400/500K: no cost
  • Holiday Card to Tucson ONLY: $35 (dates below)

Key dates:

  • July 31-Sept. 1: Registration open
  • Aug. 25: First rehearsal/music distribution
  • Nov. 14: Morning dress rehearsal/evening concert
  • Nov. 17, 24 and Dec. 1: Rehearsals for Holiday Card to Tucson
  • Dec. 6: Holiday Card to Tucson Concerts

The University Community Chorus is a self-sustaining and vital ensemble within the University of Arizona School of Music. With a mission that blends musical excellence, community engagement and educational opportunity, the chorus serves as a bridge between the university and the greater Tucson community.
