As the holiday season approaches, the university is experiencing an increase in fraudulent email activity. Remain vigilant against scammers who may try to lure you into clicking on links that steal your personal information or university login credentials.

Remember these important tips

  • Do not reply, click links, open attachments, or scan QR codes in suspicious emails.
  • If an email appears to be internal (no [EXT] banner) and the request is suspicious, verify the sender and be cautious with urgent emails, text, or calls asking for personal information.
  • The University of Arizona will never email or text you asking for your NetID password. Never enter it in an online form or send it in an email reply.
