The University of Arizona community is invited to support student success and sustainability efforts by participating in the upcoming dorm move-out rummage sale.

The four-day sale will take place May 16, 17, 23 and 24 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at ACE Recycling, 9110 S. Eisenhower Road

The event features items left behind by student housing residents, including clothing, accessories, small household goods and furniture collected from nearly 600 residence hall rooms undergoing replacement.

Each weekend will offer different items, with the first weekend focused on clothing and household goods and the second on furniture. Items will be deeply discounted on the first day of each weekend, with remaining items available free of charge on the second day while supplies last.

Proceeds from the sale support the Dorm Assistance Award, which helps low-income and first-generation students offset housing costs.

In addition to supporting students, the sale advances the university’s sustainability goals by diverting usable items from landfills and promoting reuse within the community.

Employees and community members who plan to attend are encouraged to bring large, durable bags for carrying items.
