U of A Teen Menstrual Health Study Looking For Participants

The University of Arizona Menstrual Health Study Team is inviting female participants ages 14–17 to join our research study. The purpose of this study is to understand factors that may contribute to individual differences in menstrual symptom experience. Because menstrual cycles vary in length, participation in this study may last between 1 to 3 months. Consent from a parent/legal guardian and the teen is required. 

Participants will:

  • Complete online surveys, self-collect vaginal swabs, use disposable menstrual cups, provide blood, urine, and/or stool samples, and complete 3 visits at the University of Arizona Tucson campus
  • Earn $120-$150 in gift cards

Complete a short 5–10 minute survey to see if the teen is eligible.
