The University of Arizona Menstrual Health Study Team is inviting female participants ages 14–17 to join our research study. The purpose of this study is to understand factors that may contribute to individual differences in menstrual symptom experience. Because menstrual cycles vary in length, participation in this study may last between 1 to 3 months. Consent from a parent/legal guardian and the teen is required. 

Participants will:

• Complete online surveys, self-collect vaginal swabs, use disposable menstrual cups, provide blood, urine, and/or stool samples, and complete 3 visits at the University of Arizona Tucson campus
• Earn $120-$150 in gift cards

Complete a short 5–10 minute survey to see if the teen is eligible.

Bonded Pair: Lad & August (Both M, 5 years)

This dynamic duo is ready to steal your heart and make your home theirs forever! August and Lad came to us from our rescue friends in California after being saved from the streets. They have proved to be the best of friends, support system to each other, and the sweetest pair.

Lad is a charming, deaf boy with a lot to say! He's very vocal and expressive, and he communicates his feelings with enthusiasm and personality. Thankfully, he has his best friend August by his side. August has a wonderfully calming presence and knows just how to soothe Lad. Cozy naps are a favorite pastime and occasional play wrestling with August followed by being groomed by him.

August is gentle, steady and deeply devoted to Lad. He's the grounding force in their brotherhood, helping Lad feel safe and relaxed. Interactive toys and tunnels are his favorite, and he happily plays peekaboo in the tunnels when he's feeling playful. August loves to give all his grooming attention to Lad, so he will need some brushing to keep himself looking his best.

The boys would do best as the only pets in the household and bring big enough personalities to fill the home! They would do best with older kids if applicable.

Lad and August are neutered, current on their vaccines, dewormed, microchipped, recently had dentals and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. If interested in giving these sweet boys the forever home they deserve, please fill out the adoption application on our website.
