Provost's Investment Fund Invites Proposals for the Fall 2024 Cycle
The Office of the Provost is pleased to announce $1 million in available funding for the Fall 2024 Provost's Investment Fund (PIF) competitive cycle Funding requests can range from $25,000 to $100,000 per year for a maximum of two years.
Submit your innovative and aspirational proposals that align with the university's land grant mission and the following priorities:
- Enhancing student sense of belonging and improving success, graduation, and retention, with emphasis on underrepresented groups.
- Expanding student experiential learning, including undergraduate research opportunities.
- Fostering growth and opportunities to generate new net revenue for the institution.
- Developing innovative instructional approaches and strategies, particularly for core and required courses.
Timeline
Please submit your proposals online through Arizona Cultivate no later than noon, Wednesday, Oct. 30. The system will not accept applications after the deadline.
Proposal Workshop
We will hold a virtual PIF Proposal Workshop at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 4, to talk about submission requirements, the review process, and funding priorities. Please register for the workshop. The meeting will be held on Zoom and will be recorded and available on the Office of the Provost website.
Proposal Review
We welcome the insights and expertise of anyone interested in serving on the PIF Review Committee. If you would like to submit your name for consideration, please complete the intake form by Friday, Oct 11.
PIF is designed to ensure that we can be nimble and proactive in funding high-impact projects that align with the university's land grant mission and strategic goals.
