Managing your NetID, password, and 2-factor authentication (2FA) is now easier in the redesigned netid.arizona.edu portal, which provides a more streamlined account experience.

What has changed

  • The NetID+ name (the university’s former branding for two-factor authentication) and netidplus.arizona.edu website have been retired to reduce confusion.
  • All 2FA settings are now managed at netid.arizona.edu.
  • Netid-plus.arizona.edu and netidplus.arizona.edu now redirect to netid.arizona.edu

What to update

If you maintain a website or other documentation that refers to NetID+ and/or links to netid-plus.arizona or netidplus.arizona.edu, please plan to:

  • Remove "NetID+" and old URLs from webpages, instructions, and communications
  • Use 2-factor authentication (2FA) on first reference, then 2FA
  • Use 2FA (Duo) or Duo Mobile when it clarifies the action (e.g., approving a Duo push)

More information about these changes is available in the NetID Portal Redesign article.
