The University of Arizona released its Fiscal Year 2025 Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR)

This independent, university-wide audited financial report covers the period from July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2025. The ACFR is prepared at the end of each fiscal year in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and complies with standards of financial reporting established by the Governmental Accounting Standards Board. It is required by state law and presents a retrospective view of the university's revenues, expenditures, assets, and liabilities.

The FY 2025 report includes messages from senior leaders and an independent assessment by the State of Arizona Auditor General Lindsey Perry. It also provides detailed financial statements, analysis of the university's financial position, and supplemental information.

The ACFR is distinct from the university's budgetary documents, which are forward-looking planning tools that guide spending decisions across colleges and divisions. The university monitors its financial performance throughout the year to enable data-driven decision-making in support of the university's strategic imperatives. Budget reports are available on the Budget & Planning website.

With the budget deficit eliminated and a strong financial foundation now in place, we must continue to operate with fiscal responsibility and discipline to maintain a balanced budget moving forward.

I am grateful to the office of the University Comptroller and the other financial teams for their excellent work in producing this report.
