University Release Time for Football Game on Friday, Nov. 15

To ease parking and traffic congestion for the home football game on Friday, Nov. 15, employees who normally work on the Tucson main campus should work remotely that day, if possible. 

Also, the university will grant four hours of university release time (paid leave) to all faculty, staff, graduate assistants/associates and student workers, whether they work from a university location, remotely or outside the state of Arizona. These hours must be taken on Friday, Nov. 15, after 12 p.m.

Afternoon classes will take place as scheduled, but faculty members may opt to adjust their class schedules or course content.

Employees who are critical to university operations and must remain on campus and/or work a full day have until Dec. 8 to use the four hours of university release time.
