A faculty member since 2001, he has served as associate dean for graduate academic affairs since 2019, leading significant growth in the college's graduate programs. Dr. Anderson's research centers on Bose-Einstein condensates, with internationally recognized research published in top journals and supported by major grants.

We are delighted to welcome Dr. Anderson into this role, as he focuses his experience, leadership, and vision on supporting the college's students, faculty, staff, and the missions of the College and the University of Arizona.

Thank you to Dean Tom Koch for his outstanding leadership of the Wyant College of Optical Sciences and we wish him a happy retirement. The search is currently underway for a new dean, to be appointed in the fall.
