The Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) at the University of Arizona is seeking nominations for our 2025 Visionary & Mentoring Awards. These awards honor University staff and faculty who demonstrate excellence in mentoring and advancing the CSW goals. All nominees will be recognized at the Awards Ceremony Oct. 15 from 3:30-4:30 p.m.

Since 1999, the Edith Sayre Auslander Vision Awards have recognized individuals who cultivate diversity and advance the CSW goals relating to campus climate, career and professional development, and equity. Two awards are presented: Emerging Visionary and Established Visionary. Nominate your colleagues.

The Maria Teresa Velez Outstanding Mentoring Awards honor individuals at The University of Arizona for their exceptional commitment to mentoring, recognizing those who have significantly contributed to creating high-quality mentoring experiences and fostering a mentoring culture at the university. Four awards are presented in two categories: Outstanding Mentoring and Outstanding Organizational Mentoring (one faculty and one staff awardee in each category). Nominate your colleagues.

Nominations will be accepted through Sept. 12, 2025.
