Trellis Social Open Enrollment

The University recently launched new software to support Trellis Social. After successfully migrating all current users into the new software, the UITS and UMC teams are excited to announce an open enrollment opportunity for other University social media accounts.  

Between Nov. 18 and Dec. 20, users who oversee social media accounts that speak on behalf of the University are invited to apply to come into the product.  

Applications will be vetted based on the ability to meet the continued use criteria, as well as the strategic use of social media as part of the units overall marketing and communications strategy.  

For continued access to Trellis Social, the following criteria are in place: 

  • Post a minimum of three times per week on each account connected.

  • Actively utilize Trellis Social for scheduling and analytics, with no more than a one-month lapse.

  • Attend all required training sessions.

  • Channel handles meet name requirements (see requirements at the bottom of this FAQ sheet).

Due to the logistics of this process, we will only be onboarding up to 20 users at a time. However, onboarding will continue in waves until all accounts that meet the criteria have been moved into the system.
