More Time to Give: UA Cares Workplace Giving Campaign Extended to Dec. 12
The annual UA Cares Workplace Giving Campaign is being extended for an additional week, through 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 12.
The UA Cares team is grateful to the many university colleagues who have already donated or have enrolled in a recurring payroll deduction this year. If you haven't done so yet, there is still time in this year's giving campaign period. Find out how your $5 to $15 recurring payroll deduction can make a difference in our community through these local giving opportunities.
Go to the UA Cares tile in UAccess Employee to make a donation to a designated 501(c)(3) nonprofit or UA Foundation account. Follow the steps below or watch this video with instructions to schedule your one-time donation or set up a recurring payroll deduction.
Donating through payroll deduction is easy:
- Log in to UAccess Employee Homepage and select the Employee Giving tile.
- Update your current deduction using the Edit button, or start a new deduction by choosing the Add Deduction button.
- Enter a stop date.
- Use the Add/Change Designations button to find the fund(s) you would like to choose.
- Indicate your desired amount per pay period and designate one or more charitable fund(s) to support.
- Designate any 501(c)(3) nonprofit through the United Way of Tucson and Southern Arizona, or choose any college, department, program or initiative through the University of Arizona Foundation.
- Use the Confirmation Statement button to get a PDF to print and retain for your records.
About payroll deductions:
- The payroll deduction start date will be the date that you enter the deduction in UAccess; deductions will begin within 1-2 pay periods.
- Payroll deduction stop dates are now flexible. You can choose how long you wish deductions to occur. If you leave the stop date blank, the deduction will continue indefinitely with no yearly renewal needed.
- You can now enroll in payroll deductions at any time.
Thank you for supporting our community through your gift of time or financial donation.
