UA Cares Annual Workplace Giving Campaign
The university's annual workplace giving campaign runs through Friday, Dec. 5. It's our annual invitation to Bear Down, step up, and make a difference!
You can participate by making a one-time donation or through a recurring payroll deduction. Log in to the UAccess Employee and select the UA Cares tile. Follow the steps in this video.
- You can designate any 501(c)(3) nonprofit under the United Way of Tucson and Southern Arizona.
- You can choose to support any college, department, program or university initiative through the University of Arizona Foundation.
- Payroll deductions will begin within 1-2 pay periods. Stop dates are flexible. If you leave the stop date blank, deductions will roll over annually.
Note: Designated campus colleagues and friends of the U of A who do not use UAccess can donate online through the UA Foundation.
2025 giving opportunities
You can donate to any number of charities, but UA Cares Ambassadors have chosen to highlight several giving opportunities this year that address immediate needs in our local communities.
- Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona provides food assistance and community programming.
- IMPACT of Southern Arizona addresses food insecurity and helps move Southern Arizonans out of poverty.
- Arizona Assurance Program strives to increase the number of college graduates coming from low-income households.
- University of Arizona Campus Pantry is available to students and employees.
- Employee Emergency Fund provides financial aid to employees facing unexpected emergency expenses.
- United Way of Tucson and Southern Arizona supports education, financial wellness and health initiatives.
Giving during the annual campaign is an opportunity to engage with our community and meet the evolving needs of our friends, neighbors and colleagues. Thank you for participating through your donation or action.
