Professor Tessa L. Dysart has been appointed as the new Assistant Vice Provost for Native American Initiatives, starting July 22. She reports to Dr. Joe Glover, provost and senior vice president for academic affairs. Her work with Native Nations, especially the Tohono O'odham, will greatly enhance the university's efforts to foster a culturally responsive and inclusive campus environment in accordance with the Native American Initiatives Strategic Plan.
