Invitation to Participate in Free 'Law of the Police' Online Community Course
We invite you to participate in a unique, free online course – The Law of the Police – offered by the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law in partnership with the American Bar Association Legal Education Police Practices Consortium.
This first-of-its-kind, self-paced, and asynchronous course is based on "The Law of the Police" casebook by Rachel Harmon (University of Virginia) and is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the legal framework surrounding policing. The course explores the laws that govern police practices, the case law that protects both officers and citizens, and the legal accountability of the profession.
This course brings together a variety of learners and subject matter experts, each contributing unique perspectives shaped by their professional and personal experiences. We encourage open, respectful dialogue, and we believe that through these thoughtful interactions, participants will gain valuable insights and broaden your understanding.
