Regardless of how your area conducts career feedback, after meeting with your supervisor, we encourage you to upload your completed documentation to the "Career Conversations" tile on the UAccess Employee Main Homepage.
Career Conversations and career planning should not end with the UAccess document upload. Human Resources recommends quarterly check-ins to maintain momentum. Schedule a follow-up meeting with your supervisor in September to revisit your goals, assess progress, and adjust as needed.
What is the Career Conversations model?
Career Conversations are structured, future-focused discussions between staff members and supervisors. They are designed to support staff growth through reflection, planning, problem-solving, and feedback. This is the time to celebrate accomplishments, identify key strengths, and set goals for the future.
The Career Conversations window is open April 1 to June 30 each year. For additional HR guidance, please get in touch with your HR generalist team.
* Career Conversations are not applicable for university faculty, who use a separate process.
