COVID-19 Testing Schedule: University Closure

There will be no on-campus testing from Thursday, Dec. 23, to Sunday, Jan. 2. All testing will resume on Monday, Jan. 3. On-site testing will be located at the Student Union – Arizona Room starting Jan. 3.

All employees, students and designated campus colleagues are encouraged to get tested for COVID-19, regardless of vaccination status, in advance of holiday travel and gatherings, and upon return to campus for the spring semester. Below, please see the testing schedule leading up to the holidays and University Closure.

Cats TakeAway Testing on Main Campus

Tuesday, Dec. 21 Last day to drop off your sample
Wednesday, Dec. 22-Sunday, Jan. 2 Drop-off not available
Monday, Jan. 3 Sample drop-off resumes


Registration is required for PCR testing. Test results are usually available within two business days of sample drop-off. On-Site Testing (Rapid Antigen and PCR)

Tuesday, Dec. 21, 7:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Last day for on-site PCR testing Student Union – Catalina Room, third floor
Wednesday, Dec. 22, 7:30 a.m.-12 p.m. Rapid antigen testing only Student Union – Catalina Room, third floor
Thursday, Dec. 23-Sunday, Jan. 2 Closed  
Monday, Jan. 3, 7:30 a.m.-3 p.m. On-site rapid antigen and PCR testing resumes (M-F, 7:30 a.m.-3 p.m.) Student Union – Arizona Room, third floor


Testing registration and appointments are required. Same-day appointments are usually available. Visit Wildcat OneStop to register and schedule a test. Results are usually available within two hours for a rapid antigen test, and within two business days for a PCR test.
