Virtual Fall Career Days
Virtual Career Days: Helping Students and Employers Make Meaningful Connections
WHAT: Fall Career Days
WHEN: Sept 15, 16 & 17, 2020, 11 AM – 3 PM
WHERE: Online via Handshake
On September 15, 16 & 17, Student Engagement & Career Development (SECD) hosts Fall Career Days, virtually through Handshake. Fall Career Days is a three day event designed to help UA students make meaningful connections with employers to secure an internship or full-time job or gain insight into a company, job role or industry.
Because of new social distancing guidelines, students will meet with employers through Handshake’s virtual career fair format, using video, phone or chat.
Students should register for each day of the career fair they plan to attend to be able to schedule sessions with employers. Encourage students to sign-up for sessions sooner rather than later. While they can sign-up for a session up to 1 minute before the session starts, there are no guarantees that there will be open slots available.
Employers will host 10 minute individual or 1:1 sessions, ideal for students in an internship or full-time job search and/or 30 minute group sessions with other students, ideal for those exploring employers or industries.
