The awards – the highest faculty honors that the University bestows – recognize excellence in teaching, mentoring, research and public service.

Perry, senior associate dean in the Eller College of Management, was praised by her nominators for her leadership and commitment to student development. She and the other Awards for Excellence winners will be honored at an April 25 ceremony.

The Inclusive Excellence Award winners were recognized for efforts to make campus more inclusive through their work in LGBTQ mental health and wellness, environmental resilience and more.

Martha Bhattacharya, assistant professor in the Department of Neuroscience, won The Margaret M. Briehl and Dennis T. Ray Five Star Faculty Award, the only teaching award whose honoree is chosen by undergraduates.
