NOTICE OF PROPOSED STUDENT WORKER JOB CLASSIFICATIONS AND PAY POLICY REVISION

SUMMARY: This revised policy adds two new undergraduate research assistant job codes and classifications for undergraduate student employees whose work advances knowledge in an academic discipline in a manner that holds importance for outside stakeholders. The creation of research-specific job codes and classifications will allow university personnel to track, evaluate, and assess participation of undergraduate students in research employment and the impact of research participation on student success.

A copy of the revised policy is available on the University Policies website at policy.arizona.edu.

Members of the University community are invited to submit written comments via the Policy Feedback box on the policy or by sending comments to policy@arizona.edu.

All comments must be received by close of business on July 28, 2024.
