We are seeking participants for a remote toddler vocabulary study led by Dr. Mary Alt, professor and department head, Speech, Language & Hearing Sciences.
Parents will receive a summary of their child's results after completing two sets of vocabulary checklists.
Study details:
- Open to families anywhere in the United States.
- For 2-year-olds with typical communication and overall development. (This is not a treatment study).
- Parents will complete a questionnaire and fill out checklists about their child's vocabulary.
- Children must hear only English at home.
An Institutional Review Board responsible for human subjects research at the University of Arizona reviewed this research project and found it to be acceptable according to applicable state and federal regulations and University policies designed to protect the rights and welfare of participants in research.
