Two new Job Classifications are now available for hiring undergraduate researchers: Undergraduate Research Assistant I and II. These job codes are part of the University of Arizona's effort to evaluate undergraduate research programming and highlight the benefits and outcomes of this high-impact practice for student success.
Research mentors and hiring staff are encouraged to visit the Student Employment Manual to review the classification descriptions. Additional resources to help research mentors and hiring staff determine why, when and how to use the codes are available on the Hiring Undergraduate Researchers page.
