Arizona Public Media Receives 11 Individual Rocky Mountain Emmy Awards for Five Projects Across Five Categories
The Rocky Mountain Southwest Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) has awarded AZPM 11 individual Rocky Mountain Regional Emmys for five projects across five categories, the most wins of any public media station in the region.
"I would like to extend a heartfelt congratulations to all of this year's winners," Jack Gibson, AZPM chief executive officer. "These awards are a testament to their hard work, passion and commitment to the highest standards of public media. I am proud of our talented team and look forward to seeing the continued impact of their work."
"Arizona Illustrated" continues its reputation of excellence with wins in categories including arts and entertainment, science and environment, education, and societal concerns.

Al Foul, was a celebrated musician both locally, nationally, and abroad who passed away in May 2022, after a long battle with cancer. One of his last wishes was for his wife Hannah to raise awareness of an end-of-life option that is not available to people in Arizona, an option that would have prevented much of his suffering in his final days.
