Adoption of Interim Research Security Policy

Pursuant to the University Policy-Making Policy, the following action is taken:

Adoption of Interim Research Security Policy

Summary: Federal regulations require the university to implement a research security program. This policy establishes requirements for both the research security program and university employees and investigators to achieve a secure research environment that fosters appropriate foreign collaborations.

Having been approved on an interim basis, this policy is in effect immediately, while feedback is collected for the creation of a permanent policy.

The Research Security Policy (Interim) is available on the University Policies website.

Members of the university community are invited to submit written comments via the Policy Feedback box on the policy or by sending comments to policy@arizona.edu. 

All comments must be received by close of business on Sept. 30. 

Please note: Policy feedback is available to University Initiatives & Policy, the Policy Sponsor, and elected shared governance representatives, upon request, for policies impacting the populations they represent.
