The first performance of the School's 2000-2001 concert season features Robert Swensen, tenor, and Paula Fan, piano, in a program that will include Beethoven's "Lieder," the "Liederkreis, opus 39" by Schumann, eight French melodies of Reynaldo Hahn and French operatic arias.

Little known and exquisite songs of the grossly under-rated Hahn will be showcased, and narratives will be included throughout the recital.
