UAPD Community Academy Begins Sept. 11, 2024
The University of Arizona Police Department invites faculty and staff members to register now for the Fall 2024 Community Academy, which will be held Sept. 11 through Nov. 20.
This free 10-week series will take place on Wednesdays from 5:30-8 p.m. in room S107 at the ENR2 Building, 1064 E. Lowell St., Tucson.
What You Will Learn
Throughout weekly 2.5-hour sessions, participants will gain a deeper understanding of every facet of UAPD's operations and will have the opportunity to share feedback and ideas regarding public safety.
Sworn police personnel and civilian staff from different areas of UAPD will provide a comprehensive overview of their duties and responsibilities from patrol operations and criminal investigations to regional partnerships with law enforcement agencies.
UAPD is committed to actively engaging with the university community, and the academy is another way to cultivate meaningful partnerships with faculty and staff as part of our collaborative approach to safety.
