"With growing support from CUES' $8.5 million endowment commitment, I am delighted to welcome four new CUES Distinguished Fellows to the CUES family," Guadalupe Lozano, who is director and holds an endowed chair with CUES, said. "As a cohort, they bring representation from colleges not previously counted among CUES fellowship recipients – Education, Health Sciences and Public Health. Their funded projects lean on insights and realities of current times to better distill and nourish the essence of student learning and thriving."

CUES Distinguished Fellowships support independent faculty research. Awarded projects must contribute to educational scholarship and address innovation or grand challenges in university education. Distinguished Fellows receive up to $20,000 annually for up to three years. All four of the projects are being funded for three years.
