Think Tank provides free academic support services for students

Beginning this semester, Think Tank academic support services will be provided at no cost to support students through academic coaching, tutoring, supplemental instruction, math exam preparation, and the Writing Center.

Academic support is a core part of the U of A experience, and we are proud of these changes that help to minimize the financial barrier to this learning support.

Think Tank is a complement to the classroom learning experience, supporting students on their academic journey through to graduation. Think Tank provides more than tutoring for foundational courses. 

• The Writing Center provides free 1:1 writing support for all types of writing
• Think Tank’s academic coaches are available to support all Wildcats in their navigation of the university
• Supplemental instruction and math exam preparation help students deepen their understanding of select science and math courses

Students can view support options on the Think Tank website or view their personalized support options in CatCloud during the semester.
