Take the Campus Sustainability Survey by Oct. 25
The Office of Sustainability is launching its first Campus Sustainability Survey to gain insights into the culture of sustainability at the U of A and measure our community's understanding of various sustainability topics.
Main campus students, faculty and staff are invited to participate. Your input will help create a more sustainable campus and inform new initiatives, from water and energy conservation to alternative transportation, waste management, sustainable dining and purchasing decisions.
- Time: About 10 minutes for 20 questions.
- Deadline: Oct. 25 at 5 p.m.
- Privacy: A NetID is required, but participation is confidential and results will be reported anonymously.
Take the Campus Sustainability Survey
Results from the survey will help the Office of Sustainability establish a baseline for sustainability awareness and understanding across campus, identify areas of strength and opportunities for improvement, and support the university's Sustainability Tracking, Assessment and Rating System (STARS) reporting and its goal of achieving a Gold rating.
Faculty and staff can also help by encouraging students to take the survey. Hearing from students across campus is an important part of understanding the university community's perspectives on sustainability.
As a thank-you, students, faculty and staff who complete the survey and choose to provide their contact information will receive a 20% discount coupon to use in-person at the Campus Store in the Student Union and can opt in to enter a drawing for a Campus Store eGift Card valued from $20 to $100.
