National Hazing Prevention Week
This week, Sept. 22-26, is National Hazing Prevention Week, an important time for us to raise awareness about the harmful effects of hazing.
Hazing has no place in our University of Arizona community and by promoting education, respect and mutual understanding, we can build a safer, more inclusive community for everyone.
The University of Arizona Hazing Hotline provides a telephone line for anyone to report a suspected or recent hazing incident. This phone number 520-626-HAZE (4293) accepts calls 24 hours a day. For more information, please visit the Hazing Prevention Coalition website or the university's Hazing Prevention Week website.
If you want to learn more about how you can prevent hazing, the university offers Hazing Prevention and Awareness Training for Staff and Faculty as well as for students. Together we can prevent hazing and build a stronger community!
