Encourage students to take their degree global. 

The Study Abroad Fair on Oct. 7 on the U of A Mall gives students the opportunity to explore academic programs around the world, connect with faculty and Study Abroad staff, learn about scholarship opportunities, and see how an international experience can fit into their academic plans.

This drop-in event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is a key opportunity for students considering studying abroad in 2027 and beyond. Students who attend can enter for a chance to win a $1000 Study Abroad Scholarship!*

What you can do

Faculty and staff can encourage interested students to attend the event and get familiar with scholarships and program options. Your support and campus-wide promotion can help the U of A reach the goal of growing Study Abroad participation by 45% this year.
