Isenberg Named College of Nursing Dean

Marjorie A. Isenberg, an internationally noted nursing educator, researcher and administrator, has been named dean of the UA College of Nursing. She succeeds Suzanne Van Ort, who is returning to the classroom.

Before joining the UA, Isenberg was director of international programs at Wayne State University College of Nursing. She is also a consultant to the University of Nuevo Leon in Monterrey, Mexico, to establish the country's first doctoral program in nursing.

She has directed nursing graduate student and faculty research, taught courses and published extensively in countries across Europe, the Americas and the Pacific Rim.
