The Daughters on Campus Day committee is accepting submissions by faculty, staff, students and researchers to open their workplace for Daughters on Campus Day, April 27.

In this 8th annual event, girls between the ages of 6 and 18 accompany a University employee or student to experience the wide range of work that occurs at the UA, exposing them to the numerous career options that are available.

The public-education program is seeking activities that include, but are not limited to, classes, presentations, tours, summer activities, workshops and labs.

The committee requests that you designate the time of your event, topic, number of participants, ages, and any additional information that would enhance the presentation. It can be held either in your department, or if needed, the committee can assist in finding an appropriate location.

The person to contact is Betsy Van Valkenburg by March 8. She can be reached by phone at 626-8209 or by e-mail ejv@u.arizona.edu. The activity form can be accessed @ w3.arizona.edu/~csw/doc/form00.html and when completed can be faxed to 621.7078.
