The University of Arizona's Eller College of Business and Public Administration MBA Program placed 11th among public institutions and 30th nationally among all AACSB-accredited business schools according to U.S. News & World Report's annual ranking of graduate schools of business, released today. This is the highest-ever ranking by the Eller College's MBA Program in the U.S. News & World Report survey. Last year the program ranked 31st.

The College's management information systems (MIS) program moved to number 4, up one place from last year.

"Our national reputation continues to grow," said Eller College Dean Mark Zupan. "And these rankings are a testament to the quality of and hard work put forth by our students, faculty and staff."

When U.S. News first began ranking business schools more than a decade ago, the Eller College was ranked 48th and has continued an upward climb and is now in the top-30. The MIS department has consistently ranked among the nation's five best programs.

U.S. News ranked a number of other Eller College specialty programs, including:

  • Entrepreneurship #20
  • Marketing #27
  • Accounting #30
  • Public Administration #31
  • Economics, doctoral program #37
