Eller College Offers Intense, Interactive Business Basics Course

Aug. 24, 2001

Professional development of human capital has never been more important to business success than in today's economy. In answer to this need, the University of Arizona's Eller College of Business and Public Administration is presenting its Business Basics program.

This dynamic course, developed by some of today's most innovative and informative business educators, provides participants with the opportunity to gain the skills necessary for success.

Business Basics is an interactive, intense eight-day course, which balances lecture, discussion, small group activity and computer simulation.

Designed for employees with little or no prior formal business training, the content of the program has been formatted to provide students with strong general business knowledge, complementing their own experience and skills. Business Basics was recently honored by the Department of Defense, which independently audited and endorsed the program. The course is being offered Sept. 20-28. The investment for the entire eight-day course is $3,500 per person.

Due to strictly limited enrollment, the Eller College faculty is able to deliver a concise, targeted and personal learning experience, with extensive use of case studies. More information on the course can be obtained at the Eller College website or by calling Program Manager Kitty Stoops at (520) 621-2930.
