TUCSON, Ariz. — "Leaving no one behind" is the theme of World Water Day, which takes place Friday, March 22. This theme is an extension the central promise of the United Nations' 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development: as sustainable development progresses, everyone must benefit. Water is an essential building block of life. Beyond even the nutrition and health impacts, water is vital for creating jobs and supporting economic, social and human development.
