TUCSON, Ariz. — On Tuesday, April 30, the Select Committee on the Climate Crisis will hold the first of several hearings that will focus on adopting climate policy that dramatically reduces carbon pollution to net-zero by mid-century. The hearing, "Solving the Climate Crisis: Drawing Down Carbon and Building Up the American Economy," will be streamed live at climatecrisis.house.gov.

The committee will receive testimony from four people, including Diana Liverman, a Regents' Professor of geography and development at the University of Arizona.
