More than 2,900 students were recognized for their hard work and dedication by the University of Arizona Global Campus, which hosted its spring 2025 Commencement ceremony in Glendale, Arizona, on Sunday.
The two-day event featured meet-and-greet opportunities with graduates and faculty, chances for students to connect with career services and alumni relations and a livestreamed celebration hosted at the Desert Diamond Arena.
"Graduating from UAGC is an extraordinary accomplishment for many of you, as you balanced rigorous coursework with full-time jobs, raising families and fulfilling personal responsibilities," said Gary Packard, senior vice provost of online initiatives. "Yet, despite all the challenges, you persevered – and that is something to be incredibly proud of. The University of Arizona Global Campus celebrates each and every one of you, and we gather here to honor your achievements, your dedication and your perseverance. This is a remarkable accomplishment, and I deeply admire your commitment and your aspirations."
Graduates ranged in age from 19 to 70 years old and earned degrees from associates to doctoral level. The top majors among this year's graduating class include business administration, organizational management, psychology, health care administration and human resources management.
