Graduates of the University of Arizona class of 2020 returned to campus Nov. 5 to celebrate in person six months after COVID-19 forced their May 2020 Commencement ceremony into a virtual format.

Nearly 1,000 graduates attended the celebration, which was held in front of iconic Old Main for the first time in 100 years.

The event was part of the university’s weeklong Homecoming celebration Oct. 31-Nov. 6. Themed “Wildcats Together Again,” the 2021 Homecoming also included tailgating, fireworks, Club Olympics, the traditional bonfire, crowning of the Homecoming king and queen and much more.
