Join the Department of Hydrology and Atmospheric Science and the Water Whys project for "Communicating Science With Comics," a presentation by Matteo Farinella with Columbia University's Zuckerman Institute.

Farinella is a neuroscientist turned illustrator, currently working as science multimedia producer for Columbia University's Zuckerman Institute. Combining his scientific expertise with a life-long passion for drawing, he creates comics and animations for both adults and children. Combining the benefits of visualization with powerful metaphors and character-driven narratives, comics have the potential to make even the most complex scientific subjects more accessible and engaging for a wider audience.
