The 27 honorees include four faculty members who have been given the titles of University Distinguished Professor and Distinguished Outreach Faculty.

The university is honoring 27 faculty members with Distinguished Faculty Awards in recognition of their service to students, colleagues, communities and the university's mission and land-grant values.

"Teaching, research, service, outreach, and mentorship form the foundation of the faculty work we honor," said Ronald Marx, interim senior vice president for academic affairs and provost. "In recognizing these efforts, we celebrate not only individual accomplishments but also a collective commitment to academic excellence and student success."

Information on a formal recognition ceremony will be shared as details are finalized.
