Fall 2024 Open Enrollment – UA Student HealthCare Options
Please be advised that only students enrolled in the Student Health Insurance Plan or CampusCare for the spring/summer 2024 coverage period will be automatically re-enrolled within 3 business days of showing a fall registration unit.
The University of Arizona mandates that all international students on non-immigrant visas (degree and non-degree seeking, resident or non-resident tuition) be enrolled in the Student Health Insurance Plan, unless one qualifies for an exemption.
Newly appointed Graduate Assistants/Associates (GA) or those who missed the previous enrollment must enroll for coverage to receive the Student Health Insurance Plan benefit.
All email notifications go directly to the student’s official University of Arizona (@arizona.edu) email address in compliance with The University of Arizona email policy.
September 9, 2024, is the last day of the Fall Student Healthcare Options Open Enrollment. This is the last day to add, cancel or make changes. Certain qualifying life events will allow one to join the plan outside of an open enrollment, provided arrangements are made within 30 days of the qualifying event. Please contact the Campus Health Insurance office for more information.
INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS: Should not cancel coverage through their UAccess Student Center account; they must submit an exemption request.
Student Health Insurance Plan – This is a major medical insurance policy and is administered by UnitedHealthcare StudentResources (UHCSR). Coverage extends nationwide and has an emergency benefit worldwide. The Student Health Insurance coverage period for Fall is August 16, 2024 through December 31, 2024. CampusCare – Ideal if you have a commercial plan with a high deductible, are limited to your home state, such as Kaiser Permanente, or simply want to save more on the services provided at Campus Health. CampusCare is not health insurance. The CampusCare coverage period for Fall is August 16, 2024 through December 31, 2024.
COMMERCIAL INSURANCE: Campus Health is a participating provider of most United Healthcare, Aetna, Cigna, Health Net, and Blue Cross/Blue Shield plans for primary care services.
