TUCSON, Ariz. — University of Arizona President Dr. Robert C. Robbins and Reentry Task Force Director Dr. Richard Carmona will provide an update on campus reentry progress and will take journalists' questions virtually over Zoom.

They will be joined by UArizona associate professor of immunology Deepta Bhattacharya, who will discuss COVID-19 vaccine safety and efficacy, and head of the UArizona Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology Michael Worobey, who will discuss the university's planned use of a Swish Gargle PCR test to detect COVID-19 infections.

Media who wish to ask questions via Zoom must RSVP with name, outlet and email address to Alexis Blue, ablue@arizona.edu, by 9 a.m. (MST) on Dec. 7 to receive a Zoom invitation.

The event also will be streamed live on the University of Arizona YouTube page, where all of the university's weekly updates are posted.
