University of Arizona President Robert C. Robbins conferred 6,700 degrees at the university's 155th Commencement on May 10.
About 4,500 students and 40,000 guests attended the cermony at Arizona Stadium. Dr. Mae C. Jemison, engineer, physician, entrepreneur, educator and the first woman of color to travel into space, gave the keynote address. The event concluded with a fireworks and light show.
