With Hay, Alfalfa Prices Down, Cotton Production Ticks Up in Arizona
Arizona's yield per acre is almost double the national average, due in part, says UA agricultural economist George Frisvold, to biotechnology, better insecticides and seed selection. Extension specialist Russell Tronstad said cotton stands to remain one of the state's "5 C"s for some time to come.
