The language of wine is so complex it has been the focus of accomplished linguists including the UA's Adrienne Lehrer. She tackled the topic in a chapter called "Can Wines Be Brawny?" in "Questions of Taste: The Philosophy of Wine," a collection of essays published by Oxford University Press.

UA Study Finds MRSA Bacteria in Unexpected Places

UA research found high levels of MRSA bacteria on couches, class desks and commonly touched surfaces in Tucson Fire Department offices. Fire officials now are taking strict prevention measures, and UA scientists have developed an online training program to help firefighters across the country recognize and prevent MRSA infections.
