U of A named a 'Best Value,' ranks among top 20 public universities for financial aid services

The University of Arizona is once again one of 209 colleges and universities featured in The Princeton Review's annual list of "Best Value Colleges," released Tuesday.
The U of A received a score of 88 out of a possible 99. The Princeton Review does not rank the Best Value Colleges hierarchically on a single list. Instead, the list includes rankings of value-related subcategories. This year, the U of A ranked No. 18 out of all U.S. public colleges and universities in the "Best Schools for Financial Aid" list.
The Princeton Review chose the schools for the 2025 list based on data from its surveys of administrators at more than 650 colleges. The ranking uses more than 40 data points to tally return on investment in the areas of academics, cost/affordability, financial aid, career preparation, graduation rates and student debt.
The ranking also evaluated data from The Princeton Review's surveys of students, as well as data from PayScale.com's surveys of alumni about their starting and mid-career salaries and job satisfaction.
The Princeton Review previously recognized U of A on its "Best Colleges" list, released in August.
Students surveyed by The Princeton Review said that "amazing weather and a beautiful campus" help make the U of A "full of life and fun." They added that the U of A emphasizes "communicating with its students and keeping up to date with student life" and has a "supportive and large alumni network."
