The Arizona Board of Regents has presented Ann Weaver Hart, the first woman president in UA history, with the Regents' Medal. Hart will receive the designation of president emerita effective June 1, when she is succeeded by Dr. Robert C. Robbins. The Never Settle strategic plan heads a lengthy list of Hart's accomplishments over nearly five years.
